Jesus Christ - The Greatest American Who Ever Lived T-shirt

Funny as it may seem many people have claimed to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. In 1856 self-proclaimed messiah Arnold Potter began calling himself 'Potter Christ, The Son Of The Living God' after Christ's spirit had entered into his body during a visit to Australia. He died in an attempt to ascend into heaven by jumping off a cliff, with his body later being retrieved and buried by his followers. Yes that's right, his followers. Then in 1954 an American electrical engineer called Ernest L. Norman founded the Unarius Academy of Science. Unarians - yes, he had followers too - believe that he was Jesus in a past life, and that his earthly incarnation was as an archangel named Raphiel. He himself claimed to also be the reincarnation of Confucius, Mona Lisa, Benjamin Franklin, Socrates, Queen Elizabeth I and Tsar Peter The Great. And on 18th May 1968 John Lennon called a meeting at Apple Records during which he announced to his fellow Beatles 'I have something very important to tell you all. I am Jesus Christ. I'm back again'. The meeting then adjourned for lunch, and Lennon never mentioned it again.

Apparently 1% of Americans think that Jesus Christ was the greatest American who ever lived. This very cool retro-styled t-shirt might be just what's needed to kick-start the campaign to get the whole country to believe it. Then again, it might not.
