Dorking - It's Corking!
The legendary hellraising actor Oliver Reed used to drink in Dorking - it is said that at one point he was banned from every pub in town, most notably The Bull's Head where he climbed the chimney naked shouting 'Ho Ho Ho I'm Santa Claus'. Well, who hasn't done that... Laurence Olivier was born there, Charles Dickens wrote most of 'The Pickwick Papers' while staying at The White Horse Hotel (Oliver Reed was banned from there too) and the actress who plays Tracey the barmaid in the popular television soap opera 'Eastenders' apparently lives there. Or near there. Something like that anyway.
If your answer to the question 'do you like Dorking?' is 'I don't know, I've never dorked' then you need our very cool 'Dorking - It's Corking!' retro-styled t-shirt. Because it is. Corking that is. And it's Dorking too. I think I'll stop now.
