With Great Moustache Comes Great Responsibility inspired by Family Guy

The Handlebar Club was founded in April 1947 in the dressing room of funny man Jimmy Edwards at The Windmill Theatre in London. The idea was to bring together moustache wearers, many of whom were previously in the armed forces during the Second World War. There were 10 founder members including BBC sports commentator Raymond Glendenning and comedy writer Frank Muir, and at the height of it's popularity there were around 200 members who would hold meetings on the first Friday of every month at The Pathfinder Club in London. To qualify for membership you need 'a hirsute appendage of the upper lip, with graspable extremities' and the club publishes the Graspable Extremities online news letter to it's members, all of whom know that (as this very cool retro-styled t-shirt says) with great moustache comes great responsibility.
