Zombie Olympics

On October 31st 2006 a young woman in Bloomington Indiana reported to police that she'd been attacked in her Land Rover by a group of zombies who had covered her vehicle in purple goo. It turned out that she hadn't actually encountered the living dead but had met the participants of a zombie walk, a gathering where people put on ghoulish costumes and make up then walk through a town or city centre. The largest gathering of this type so far was reported in Grand Rapids Michigan 3 years later (on Hallowe'en again - of course!) when over 8,000 people joined in. Perhaps they were all in training for the Zombie Olympics? Well, it's a thought.

Here's a thriller of a t-shirt for undead atheletes everywhere, most of whom will converge on Gravesend in 2012. Probably. Actually it would be funny if they did after us making the t-shirt wouldn't it?
