Walkers, Thousands Of 'Em - Zombie Design
So - did Sir Michael Caine, as Colour Sargeant Bourne in the 1964 film classic 'Zulu', really say the words 'Zulus - thousands of them'? (Or as we all like impersonate him, did he say 'Zulus - faarzands ov 'em'?)
No he didn't, in the same way as Humphrey Bogart's character Rick Blaine didn't say 'play it again Sam' in 'Casablanca'. Popular opinion is that the actual quote is 'Sentries have come in from the hill sir, they report Zulus to the South East. Thousands of them' - but what he really said was 'Walkers, thousands of 'em' - which is why we've produced this retro-designed t-shirt.
Incidentally he didn't say 'not a lot of people know that' either - that was Peter Sellers impersonating him. And not a lot of people know that...
