One of the least likely success stories of the 2010 World Cup was Paul the Octopus. From his tank at The Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, Germany he managed to correctly predict the results of all 7 games that the German national side were involved in, and then went on to correctly predict the result of the final by doing nothing more than eating mussels. To put this apparently random and therefore unimpressive feat into perspective the animals at Chemititz Zoo (Leon the porcupine, Petty the pigmy hippo, Anton the tamarin and Main the parakeet) failed to predict any results at all. There are German fans want to roast and eat the oracle octopus as he predicted their team's defeat in the semi-final so we can only speculate on what they want to do to the hapless Zoo inhabitants...
We think Paul's predictions are pretty cool so we've produced this retro t-shirt in his honour. Now Paul - who's going to win The Premier League next season?
