Don't Ever Touch My Drum Set

Between the 9th and 14th of March 2009 at the Sacramento Guitar Centre in Sacramento U.S.A. Russ Prager drummed for an incredible 120 hours, beating (if you pardon the expression) the previous drumming marathon World Record by 36 hours. Very cool - but am I the only person that thinks it's funny that it was held in a guitar centre? Does this mean that down at the nearest drum centre people were trying to beat the guitar marathon World Record?
