Ikon Footwear
IKON started in the late 90s as a response to the UK’s Indie and Britpop scene by a shoe designer who had spotted a gap in the market… shoes with an indie or 1960s feel that were available on the high street. The first range of IKON shoes were released in 1997 and were quickly picked up by some major stores including Topman and Schuh and have grown in size and reputation ever since.
IKON draw their inspiration from classic bands and pop movements, whether it be Chelsea boots like John Lennon’s, Weller-esque bowling shoes or desert boots that almost look like they’ve been stolen directly from Richard Ashcroft’s wardrobe.
IKON have developed over the past decade to include a huge dapper range of casual and formal shoes and boots, mostly with a retro flavour. IKON shoes are produced with passion, flair and a commitment to style and quality.
