Casio

Casio's roots stretch back to as early as 1946 when a young Kashio Seisakujo from Japan started a company that would later become the Casio Computing Co. Yet it was a long 18 years until 1974 when the legendary Casio digital watch was released to the thankful public worldwide, and a further 10 years until 1984 for the Databank and Calculator watch.

Retro Digital Watches

Along with the Ray Ban Wayfarer it is difficult to think of a more era defining accessory than the Casio digital watch. In England alone, for almost the entire decade it seemed that a Casio adorned every schoolboy's wrist. Today people are ditching the divers and G-Shock watches with unnecessary and frankly ridiculous features and swarming back to the simple, classic smart appeal of the 1980s digital.

It tells the time and the date and most models have a stopwatch and a light too. What else could you really need?
