Situated on Englands South Coast, Worthing traditionally has a greater than average proportion of elderly people – it’s a nice peaceful place so why not go there to see out your days? It hasn’t always been the case though. Worthing has has a dark past, well known for smugglers. The Skeleton Army was formed there in 1884 by a disgruntled liquor shop owner who objected to the Salvation Army’s critical stance on alcohol, leading to riots on Worthings streets. Maybe one day we’ll make a t shirt to celebrate smugglers and pirates but for now let’s all take it easy, have a nice cup of tea and take the weight off our feet. This t shirt comes in a Grandad brown colour with cream print.
