Contrary to popular belief, Kentucky isn’t named after everyone’s favourite chicken restaurant – in fact it’s the other way around. Kentucky is the 37th largest state in the US and ranks at 26th in the population chart, with over 4 million inhabitants. Nearly 51% of those are women. 36% are either under 18 or over 65 years of age. According to our maths, that means there are around 1.3 million women aged between 18 and 65 in Kentucky. We’re not really sure why we worked this out – you can deduce your own conclusions.
