In 1968 Andy Warhol said 'in the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes'. By 1979 he'd revised his opinion - 'I'm bored with that line. I never use it anymore. My new line is "in fifteen minutes everybody will be famous" '. Was he right? In these days of reality T.V. people become 'famous for being famous' - so does that mean that you can be 'famous for being famous' for 15 minutes? Then again you could be famous for being 'famous for 15 minutes' couldn't you? I think I'll stop there.
