Trying to describe Northolt to someone who hasn’t been there can be quite tricky. So what is Northolt famous for? Well it’s home to RAF Northolt, the airport often used by the Royal Family and the Prime Minister. But is it really in Northolt – well, no. It’s in Ruislip. So that rules that one out. What about the Northolt Swimarama. Ah, such memories. Well that one is in Northolt – at least it used to be. It’s now shut down and I think it may even have been demolished by the time you read this. Such a shame. Up until World War II, there was a racecourse there. But that has since been turned into a housing estate. Ah well. It’s not my fault, it’s Northolt. This t shirt comes in black or chocolate brown and both have cream print.
