Middlesbrough is a large town in the North East of England – you probably know that already, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this. Ask any American to say it and 99% of the time they will reply with Middles-Bro. When we were making this t shirt, we had a choice of towns that would have worked. Leicester was on the list, our american friends pronounce that Lie-Sester. We also could have had Birmingham as across the Atlantic they say it as if you’d find it on a deli counter. But Middlesbrough won the race so here it is – in either a black tee or red, like the football team. Both have burgundy print and look damned good!
