Andrew Flintoff, or Freddie as he is better know, is an English cricketer who plays for Lancashire and England. To put it in laymans terms, he’s like a modern day Ian Botham. Except he’s not quite as good with the bat. But his bowling, oh my friends, Freddie sure knows how to bowl a cricket ball. In the recent second Ashes test against Australia, Freddie ripped through the batsmen ferociously while still struggling with his injured knee – the same knee that is causing him to retire from Test Cricket at the end of the Ashes. Despite being quite a colourful character – the infamous "Fredalo" incident will always be attached to him – Flintoff will go down as one of Englands great all rounders. Let’s hope he sees out his Test career with another Ashes victory.
