I Brought This Upon Myself T-shirt

The art of self infliction. I’m a master of it. I’m not talking about self harm, more the ability to leave myself with a task to do that I don’t really want to do but end up having to do it because I made a drunken promise. Like DJ’ing somebody’s birthday party. Or the promise of transferring a piece of music from a dvd on to cd so that the old fella down the pub could listen to the Green Berets without having to put the film on. And no, it wasn’t on the soundtrack, I checked. But that’s ok – it’s an easy task I thought. But then he wanted it joined to the music at the end of the film. So I had to record the bit at the start, then the bit at the end and then join them together, seamlessly. And then get it on to cd. And then I took it to him.And he wanted it 3 times on the same track so I had to go back and do it all again. It was a favour. A favour for gods sake. And it took me HOURS. Still, I brought it upon myself. My fault. Now I wear this lovely cool t shirt in my favourite colour red to remind myself not to be so bloody helpful.
