This retro tee from American Classics is one of their best, let’s make no mistake about it. It’s a Magnum tee, so it had better be good, huh? Yes, indeed, and they haven’t let us down.

Magnum PI was a TV series starring Tom Selleck that ran from 1980 to 1988, what an era for TV, and what an era for moustaches. Let’s not mess around, the one star of that show, after his rather nifty Ferrari was his moustache - every man’s envy, and every woman’s dream. Errr… anyway, Magnum was a private investigator (hence: PI), and spent his days bombing around Hawaii solving crimes and catching the bad guys, all with a wry smile and a sprinkling of classic ‘80s humour.

Anyway, back to the T-shirt

This here Magnum PI t-shirt is pure, retro gold. To kick things off it’s pale orange, it’s got a faded distressed print of the Magnum PI logo, that nifty red Ferrari that we mentioned earlier, and several silhouetted palm trees. Yes, palm trees.
