Nyaa Nyaa! Said the Japanese Cat – shortly before the Emperor cut off its tail. All cats in Japan say Nyaa Nyaa apparently. One of the most common breeds is the Japanese Bobtail Cat, known for it’s short stumpy tail. Legend has it that once upon a time, a cat was warming itself by a fire and got a bit too close. It’s tail set alight and it ran off through the town burning buildings to the ground as it went. As a result, the Emperor decided that all cats should have their tails cut off. Little harsh. Can’t see that cat being too popular down the milk bar that weekend. I bet Nyaa Nyaa weren’t the only words had in the cat community at that time. This t shirt comes in sky blue or yellow. They’re cat like colours, surely?
